Covid 19 (Coronavirus) and Immigration: Applying from outside for a UK Immigration Visa

As the UK and the world face challenging months with Covid 19, the Home Office / UKVI has set up a Coronavirus Immigration Team (CIT) and released the following guidance. Due to worldwide border, travel and public health restrictions

If you are outside of the UK applying for a UK visa or going to apply for a UK visa then the Home Office / UKVI has released the following guidance.  New Guidance are being released each week as the situation changes.

All UK Visa Application Centres (VACs) are closed.  There are different restrictions depending on where in the world you are based.  For some countries the Home Office / UKVI may have already made a decision on your application but cannot send it to you as it crosses  border restrictions that are currently in place.

English Test Centres – many of these are closed but you can check the current situation as this will vary across countries and even areas.

A coronavirus help team has been set up and you can email them if you have any immigration enquiries related to Covid 19 coronavirus.  The Coronavirus Immigration Help Centre can only accept emails in English.
