It is with a degree of sadness that 4A Law Specialist Immigration Business and Property lawyers bring to the world the news that the Immigration Advisory Service known as ‘IAS’ among the Immigration world has had to close its doors after trading for around 35 years in many places around the world and including 14 offices in England and Scotland.

The Immigration Advisory Service which was the largest provider of publicly funded immigration and asylum legal advice was placed into administration on 8th July 2011. No doubt this has had a tremendous impact on staff as well as clients.

4A Law Head of Immigration Vijesna Rohit said:

I sympathise with many of my former colleagues and my heart goes out to clients, who may find themselves without representation, through no fault of their own. In particular vulnerable clients who may not know where to turn.

Vijesna worked at the Immigration Advisory Service for some 6 years before forming 4A Law and heading up the Immigration department.
